Calculator data

Conversions run in this browser. The application does not write calculator values to cookies, localStorage, or sessionStorage. No analytics provider is configured, and the analytics adapter does not send entered values, calculated results, or clipboard contents.

Theme preference

The site follows your browser's light or dark color preference until you use the theme button. Your choice is saved as “light” or “dark” in this browser's localStorage so it can be used on other pages and future visits. Calculator values and results are not stored with this preference.

If browser storage is unavailable, you can still change the theme on the current page, but your choice may not be saved.

Language preference

The site can suggest a language based on your browser settings. It changes language only after you choose to switch. If you select a language manually, that choice is saved in this browser's localStorage so unprefixed pages can use it on a later visit. Closing the suggestion saves a separate preference so it will not appear again. These preferences do not include calculator values or results; you can remove them by clearing this site's localStorage.

Sharing and external sites

If you choose Share, the generated URL contains the normalized value, source unit, target unit, and conversion mode. Your browser passes it to the share target you choose, where recipients may see that information. When someone opens the shared URL, its parameters are sent to this site as part of the request URL and may be processed under the hosting provider’s request-handling policy.

Website hosting

Static hosting providers may process technical request data needed to deliver pages and assets under their own policies. This site does not describe provider-specific log retention or processing.
